Pelham Art Show a big success!

I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in person in the 2022 Pelham Art Show. It was a great three day event with lots of contact with other artists and many terrific browsers and buyers. Thanks to my husband, Mark Ryall for helping me out with all the details of lighting and display.

Milton Designer a happy customer

Wonderful to sell my second painting to Liane Robertson, an interior designer from rproject.com. in Milton. Liane loves Canadian Landscape art and is a big promoter of that in her design business.

About

Lynne Ryall has been painting in her spare time ever since high school. Much of her work centers on the stylization and impressions of Canadian landscape. Her main desire is to capture the light and reflections on the land and water at different times of the day to create a strong if not spiritual impression of a moment in time. She has travelled extensively in Canada and abroad with her family and friends. On these trips, she takes every opportunity to sketch, paint on site and photograph. Lynne mainly paints in oil, but also does work in acrylic and watercolour. Although most of her large canvases are done in the studio, she also takes many opportunities to paint in plein air. In the last year, Lynne has been teaching plein air workshops for the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington Ontario. For the last two years, Lynne has rented studio space at the Cotton Factory in Hamilton where she exhibits her work on a regular basis. She has been painting full time since retiring from being a secondary school Visual Art, Media and History teacher at the Peel District School Board.
